Design and Programme Engineer










The Design and Program Engineer will hold the responsibility to manage the overall construction strategies, scheduling and Design review of Infrastructure Projects, and to oversight and prepare the detailed work schedule, analysis, and control activities for the project and/or proposals on Infrastructure projects focused on the optimization (value engineering) of the Design, assuring quality, time and cost effectivity.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Coordinate all design-relevant parameters (technical, works program, construction operation) with the project team, client, and designers
•    Overseeing internal and external design teams including the control of contractual and professional design obligations of the Designers
•    Tracking and reviewing design documentation
•    Develop temporary design with the design staff
•    Cooperate in the development of alternative solutions and value engineering
•    Creating work plans/construction schedules, logistics concepts, target/actual comparisons, schedule control, and work plan management
•    Resources and equipment planning
•    Planning of construction site facilities and site facilities plans
•    Elaboration of the planning of delivery, determination of space requirements, construction process engineering, equipment deployment planning
•    Support the operational units in the tender and award

Basic Qualifications:
•    Degree in Engineering or Construction Management discipline from a university
•    A minimum of ten years of relevant work experience on infrastructure projects
•    Strong understanding of Engineering Principles
•    International working experience is preferred
•    Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices
•    Knowledge and experience in EPC management practices and methods
•    Good knowledge of MS Office, Autocad, planning software “MS Project” “Tilos” and document control software
•    Very good Spanish and English (written and spoken) 
•    Team player, self-motivated, persistent with hands-on mentality
•    Intercultural competence
